Hold a real presidential election in your classroom without building a single ballot from scratch.
The 2028 presidential election is coming up, making it a great opportunity to bring the election process into your classroom. This editable ballot set lets students participate in a mock presidential election, cast their votes, and see the results firsthand.
Print the ballots, run the vote, and use the results chart to show students what happened. Setup takes about ten minutes.
Works for far more than presidential elections
Teachers can also use these ballots for class officer elections, book votes, field trip choices, and any time students need to make a group decision. One teacher even used them to hold an election for her high school teachers! Because every field is editable, you can customize the ballots for whatever your class is voting on.

Teachers Are Talkin’
“These ballots were perfect for the mock election that I held in my classroom.”
“This was such a time saver! My students wanted to hold an election for their high school teachers, and this pre-made template saved me so much time.”
“We did a MOCK election in our classroom after learning about the process and specific candidates and political parties. They were excited to have one of their own. I’m thankful to be able to use these in future elections as well.”
Great for:
Grades 5 through 12. Civics, social studies, ELA, ESL and homeschool. Works as a standalone lesson or alongside an election unit.
A note on these templates:
Naturally, the ballots come blank on purpose. Midterm races differ in every district, and your school may have its own rules about naming real candidates, so you type in whichever races and names fit your classroom. Or leave them generic, and focus on the props and measures.
