Hold a real election in your classroom without building a single ballot from scratch.
The 2026 midterms are on November 3rd, and your students are about to hear about them everywhere. This editable ballot set turns that into a lesson they actually take part in.
First, edit your candidates, measures, and propositions. Then print the ballots and let the votes speak for themselves. After the election, use the pie or bar charts to show your students what the results are. Setup takes about ten minutes.
What’s inside

Teachers Are Talkin’
“These ballots were perfect for the mock election that I held in my classroom.”
“This was such a time saver! My students wanted to hold an election for their high school teachers, and this pre-made template saved me so much time.”
“We did a MOCK election in our classroom after learning about the process and specific candidates and political parties. They were excited to have one of their own. I’m thankful to be able to use these in future elections as well.”
Great for:
Grades 5 through 12. Civics, social studies, ELA, ESL and homeschool. Works as a standalone lesson or alongside an election unit.
A note on these templates:
Naturally, the ballots come blank on purpose. Midterm races differ in every district, and your school may have its own rules about naming real candidates, so you type in whichever races and names fit your classroom. Or leave them generic, and focus on the props and measures.
